National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), is a premier research institute engaged in research in life sciences across scale. Several research facilities and associated infrastructure helps in providing cutting edge technology and support research.
NCBS is looking for fresh graduates in Library & Information Science for the appointment of Scientific Information Resources Centre (Library) Trainee on fixed term basis.
Position: SIRC Trainee
Number of vacancies: 1 position
Age limit: 28 years as on 01.01.2025
Consolidated Salary: Rs.22,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification:
Graduate from recognised University/Institute (Science Preferable) and B.Lib/B.L.I.Sc. from recognised University/Institute.
Desirable:
Master's Degree in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate
Interested candidates may attend WALK-IN at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR), GKVK, Bellary Road, Bangalore-560065 at 10.30 am on Friday, 2nd May 2025 along with CV and true copies of relevant certificates/testimonials in support of your qualifications and experience.
General Instructions:
1. The Selection process may consist written test / interview. Any change in the recruitment process will be intimated to the candidates in advance.
