Kazi Nazrul University invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment in the following Academic Post on Direct Recruitment Basis:

1) Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work.
iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III Table VII.

Application Fee:
Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) for UR and Candidates belonging to SC/ ST /OBC-A /OBC-B are exempted from paying application fee.

Age Limits:
ii) Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time. Minimum Eligibility Criteria, Additional Experience and other recruitment rules of the Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal will be followed for recruiting Academic Staff of the University.
ii) Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time. Minimum Eligibility Criteria, Additional Experience and other recruitment rules of the Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal will be followed for recruiting Academic Staff of the University.
