Number of Trainees to be admitted: 03
Nature of Traineeship: Selected Trainees will get an opportunity to work in various sections of the Central Library using the latest tools and technologies in the LIS field. They will have to work from Monday-Saturday (6 days a week).
Duration: The duration of traineeship will be for one year.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should possess a BLIS or MLIS degree from a recognized university with at least a higher second class. Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
Age: Preferably below 30 years.
Stipend amount:
Candidates with BLIS: 12,000/- p.m.
Candidates with MLIS: 15,000/- p.m.
Interested candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format attached here to library@iiti.ac.in before June 05, 2019.
The Institute reserves the right to conduct Written Test if the circumstances so warrant, or to revise the Eligibility Criteria to restrict the number of candidates for Interview to a reasonable limit.
