The goal of this Workshop

• To develop skills among LIS professionals towards facing the challenges of the 21^st century for data science applications.
• To accustom professionals to new generation tools for data wrangling, data reconciliation and named-entity recognition (NER) using open source tools.
• To train participants with real-life applications (Case studies based) of the open source data wrangling tools and techniques.

Registration Fee: Rs.3,500.00

No. of Participants: Maximum 40 (First come first served).

Accommodation: Accommodation charges (for the candidates who need it) will be separate.

Prerequisites: This is a carry-in laptop workshop and applicants must have basic computing skills (preferably in a Linux environment) with a library science background (preferably with MLISc degree)
