Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to one vacant post of Librarian, initially on probation for a period of one year in the establishment of Patna High Court, Patna as per details below:

Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4600/- (prerevised) now Level-7 in the revised pay plus usual allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate with degree in Library Science and Diploma in Computer Science/ application from a recognized University having experience in service in High Court or Central/ State Govt. aided Library or institution with status of a National/State Archives or reputed Library. Preference will be given to Law Graduate.
Willing candidates may apply online following the link on the website of the Court www.patnahighcourt.gov.in) from 17.01.2019 to 06.02.2019 till 23:59 hours after which the link shall be disabled. However, the link shall remain available upto 11.02.2019 till 23.59 hours only for the purpose of uploading the scanned photograph, signature of the candidate, filling in Bank reference number and obtaining print-out of the application form. The candidates are advised to fill the online application form very carefully and then finally submit the form. The candidates must take a printout of the online filled in application form and keep with themselves, and produce the same, along with all the required certificates at the time of verification of certificates.

Kazi Nazrul University invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment in the following Academic Post on Direct Recruitment Basis:
Name of the Post Librarian,  Category (UR)
Pay scale: Rs. 37,400 - 67,000/- with AGP Rs. 10,000/-
1) Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work.
iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III Table VII.
2) Desirable:
A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science /documentation /archives and manuscript keeping.
Application Fee:
Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) for UR and Candidates belonging to SC/ ST /OBC-A /OBC-B are exempted from paying application fee.
Age Limits:
ii) Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time. Minimum Eligibility Criteria, Additional Experience and other recruitment rules of the Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal will be followed for recruiting Academic Staff of the University.

1.
